MMCF’s C2 Team Million Meter Row

The Concept2 Team Million Meter Row at MMCF started Thursday, July 3, 2008.  The conclusion of this event will be when our team finishes rowing 1 million meters.  Our goal is to complete this event by: Friday, October 10th (in order to rest to begin the Skeleton Crew row).

Basic rules:

  1. Record your meters and the date you rowed them on the poster in the gym.  You can also record your meters online with Concept2’s online personal logbook.
  2. When the goal is reached, MMCF will submit the results to C2 for each person who participated in the event.
  3. All meters must be rowed on the Concept2 Indoor Rower (on-water meters are not included in the Million Meter totals).

Each team member who rows at least 50,000 meters in the effort to reach a million will receive a C2 Team Million Meter Club patch and each person rowing at least 10,000 meters will receive a certificate.

The Team Million Meter Program provides a challenging goal for someone who isn’t yet ready to tackle their own Million—or it can serve as additional motivation on the way to an individual million.  Meters rowed for the team can also count towards one’s individual Million Meter Club patch.
