WOD - 10/18/08

THE BEAR
Thank you to CF One World for the great information and videos on The Bear.

There are many versions of “The Bear”.  As in the first video below, we will be doing it for max load in the final round.

5 Rounds, 7 sets of (7 sets = 1 round):

Power clean
Front squat
Push Press
Back squat
Push Press

Notes:
- There is no time component in this WOD
- You can rest between rounds as needed.

Several Rules:
- NO resting on the ground (even to re-grip)
- You can combine movements as long as:
* The clean starts at the ground and finishes at full hip extension
* The squats have to go below parallel, and
* The presses finish locked out overhead.
Jerking is ok, so are squat cleans and deadlifting then hang clean.  The squats and push presses can be exact or thrusters.  However, you cannot receive the clean in a squat and go directly to the thruster.  You must stand first.
