Announcement: Keith’s Random Gym Time Down For 1 Week

Hey Crossfitters! I have to go to a conference in San Diego for a while (it will be tough!). So…I can’t make it to MM for a few days. Sorry. We have been having a lot of fun at the random gym time. Yesterday we had Andrew and Jeremy show up. It was tough because Andrew and Jeremy are both firefighters, so I was outnumbered. I had to keep the recliner jokes to myself (not really). Jeremy works for Camp Parks Fire and brought in his department patch for us.

I mentioned to some of you that me and andrew had a little competition on the 500m row. Andrew beat me with a time of 1:29! He is one tough kid. We put our time on the board. How about you guys? At the end of your next wod, hit the rower and show us what your are made of. Try and beat Andrew’s time. He set that bar pretty high.

I’ll start taking more pics…in the meantime, here are some good photos that show good intensity! This is from yesterday’s wod.

Just a quick note:

For those of you not familiar with Livermore.  Downtown will be hosting their Trick or Treat tonight from 4pm-7pm.  Those of you coming from out of town that are use to taking 1st Street will want to consider an alternate route.  1st Street [between Maple & O] and 2nd Street [between Livermore Ave & M] will be closed.

Keith’s Random Gym Time (Sunday)

Hey Crossfitters…I know the gym is usually closed on Sunday, but we’re going to open it for a little CF fun. There will be no day of rest here! I will open the gym at 2:15 PM and it will close promptly at 3:10. I have to get to work, so that is why it has to close promptly! I’m looking forward to another spectacular session. I saw lots of you on Saturday and Andrew showed up for the weekday session and put me through my paces.

Speaking of Andrew, he let it be known that he is thinking of doing the CrossFit Games in July in Aromas. I have promised to train hard with him so he can attain that goal. I think it would be totally awesome to have MM Crossfit represented at the games!

I’m thinking of getting the cops in the gym to do a match against the firefighters and do a SWAT Fran Vs. a FireFighter Fran. What do you think? Just a thought…I figure the firefighters should get some exercise time since they spen so much time in those recliners!
